Dear John, Thanks for that start. I took a cursory run to the IRIS site and at least got the depth down. I want to get a look at the actual seismograph output for this quake if I can. I'll run around there some more and see what I come up with. As for the local geology, Newcomb is located in the Adirondack mountains which is an anorthositic plug contiguous with the Canadian Shield. We do have a couple of faults running through Town but I am not sure of the exact layout.
