As an atheist and an American I agree with the court's ruling.  The phrase =
"under god" is unconstitutional under the establishment clause of the =
first amendment.  It is so clearly unconstitutional I cannot believe =
nobody objected before.  The authors of the law clearly decided to =
establish belief in god as a belief of the government.  A teacher =
espousing belief in god is a representative of the government and is =
prohibited from doing so. =20
