I don't understand the concern regarding using the key when to
open more than one file. It has always been possible to highlight more
than one file in the file list dialog. The "Open File" button will then
open all of the highlighted files for display.
As for the order that the files are displayed in the file list dialog,
it looks like Larry has adopted a standard Windows convention. If you
click on any of the column headings in the file list dialog, the list
will be sorted on that column. A second click on the same column
reverses the sort order.
