FYI ... I have one of the older sync boards... I bought a new antenna 
off Ebay.  It wasn't for the Oncore unit and the antenna had a different 
plug for the board. Years ago, someone questioned whether you could add 
coax. I needed the connector to the board. I simply splice the coax. I 
ended up with about six extra feet of coax. The Oncore unit came right 
up. My problem was right where the coax and the antenna meet. I had NOT 
fastened the active antenna securely. After the strong winds this year, 
it just broke the coax at the antenna.
