Here ftp://ftp.nofs.navy.mil/pub/outgoing/aah/temp/quake29.jpg is an
interesting picture that was taken through a large telescope in Flagstaff AZ
during a small earthquake on April 29 1993. You can see the bottom star has a
lot of little lines showing the motion of the scope during the quake.
