Thanks larry, that was easier than I expected, now I just need to learn enough to write a program to decode from a telnet session under windows ... or spend some more time getting the Linux system working :) I had seen the Liss before, but only as the graphical page, and I didn't realise it had the streaming function underlying it ... some damn strange patterns on there today.
