  Nice photos. I hope to be able to show some photos as soon as I create a
web page. I changed  STM's design slightly.  I was continuously  removing
and replacing the the leaf spring for various reasons. I finally cut the non
bearing side of the aluminum that supports the brass leaf spring support
rods away. That way instead of trying to keep the leaf spring in place while
inscrewing the flexures , I simply squeeze the ends of the leaf spring
together slightly and  it comes out from beneath the beam.
