Is this the first time you tried WinSDR or have you been running an older
version without problems? Also, tell me more about the system you are using
for datalogging like how much memory, CPU speed and what version of Windows
you are using?

First, make sure that you have the baud rate set to 9600 when using the
ONCORE receiver. If the receiver is outputting NMEA text messages the baud
rate should be set to 4800. One thing you can try is to reset the receiver
either using the reset command in WinPlotGPS or doing a hardware reset by
removing the batteries or temporarily shorting out the onboard battery if
the receiver has it's own battery. The other thing to try is Motorola
WinONCORE program. You can download it from here:
